| I thought Noons was gonna KO him. He has some heavy hands for his size. Every time he connected he was pushing him back. Dream and SF should combine if anything. They could be a powerful force together. I know that wouldn't happen though. Melendez looked great in his last fight and I can see him winning this fight too. SF 4, Dream 0! | |

| I guess Noons was dragging an injured foot during the fight. It def showed because the quickness and footwork he displayed in the Diaz and Yves fight was missing but the excellent head movement and crisp striking was there.
I'm a fan of King Karl man. I'd still root for Nick Diaz in a rematch but i like watching Noons fight.
As for Dream vs. Strikeforce...i'm surprised DREAM is playing that up because technically Marius Zaromskis and Melvin Manhoef are Strikeforce fighters as well. Michael Schiavello was really getting into the whole head to head concept saying how DREAM was 0-3 against Strikeforce and blah blah. The only true DREAM vs. Strikeforce fight was KJ Noons vs. Andre Dida. I say DREAM playing up a head to head battle with Strikeforce is going make their guys look really weak sauce in the end. Im just curious on who DREAM is actually going to count as THEIR fighters going up against Strikeforce in this whole gimmick. Is Overeem and Mousasi DREAM fighters as well?

| there doesn't seem to be a ton of interesting options for Diaz at 170, but a Noons fight, if KJ were willing to make the jump for a shot at the title against a guy he already beat, would be a good one. | |

| And the sf vs dream matchups were pulled off an independant link that was tied to a sf newsletter. Though im not sure if either org is officially playing into it. | |

| Does the Japanese crowd care about W/L records? I think they just love great shows and larger-than-life characters.
Man, I hope Melendez beats the brakes off Aoki. I actually think a healthy Josh THomson matches up better.

| DREAM had a fancy video package with DREAM vs. STRIKEFORCE written all over it. Maybe it was just to promote the Aoki-Melendez matchup but the video package also hyped KJ Noons vs. Andre Dida as a Strikeforce vs. DREAM fight. So i think that is how DREAM is promoting it...not Strikeforce as of yet though. | |
