At Los Angeles (Showtime): Israel Vazquez vs. Rafael Marquez, the 4th fight, 12 rounds, featherweights; Yonnhy Perez vs. Abner Mares, 12 rounds, for Perez's IBF bantamweight title.

The undercard, Perez-Mares, starts in about 1 hour and 15 minutes or so @ after 9:00 PM EST, put your comments here if you like.

I like to start the fight scoring thread. Ring and Ali love to beat me to it on a weekly or twice weekly basis.

Going to start searching for a stream soon. Looking forward to it.

I get Showtime Krazy, but I usually hunt up a Stream for people who don't have one, Showtime links are usually easy to find.

Up first: Perez-Mares

I found a sopcast channel: Sportin' Wood, it seems to have a delay..

Be glad that these guys don't have the same energy that they had 2-3 years ago. Gus Johnson would have had a heart attack during the first couple fights between them.

Worse yet, imagine Gus during Castillo vs. Corrales. His freaking head would have exploded.

I am leaning towards Mares but he's still inexperienced so Perez winning wouldn't shock me.

I gave the 1st round to Mares, 10-9 he was more effective.

Round 1 (10-9) Mares, Mares had faster hands and landed more effective blows. Good first round.
