sooner the problem with williams he negates his reach and height to much..and his use of distance is fair at best..this makes him very hitable..his use of leverage is awfull.his natural abilty otherwise is tops.
Yeah but he has a huge advantage. I mean Manny and Floyd are small WW's.

gumby a lot of great fights there...williams fighting welters or middles makes no differnce..he can do both ..whats wrong with him coming in at 151 52 to fight a welter..im tired of the poor excuse a few pounds and the guys are too big..if that was the case robinson walker basilio leaonard grifith would of never won the middle title..toss the 154 lb division in the garbadge can.your a middleweight..a guy moves up from 135 to 140 and we think its a huge step..nonsence..fight the best and forget the excuses..period..williams wants to soo take him on..

But if you're a Welterweight why fight a guy that hasn't fought at Welterweight for two years?

You guys are making it sound like these Welters are ducking Williams. THEY ARE NOT!!!

If he wants to fight Welters he should earn his shot in the Welterweight division. Winning fights at Junior Middle and Middleweight earns you absolutely zero points in the Welterweight division.

If a Welterweight strapholder wants to challenge him so be it. There are plenty of challengers fighting at their weight to choose from.

The bottom line is Paul Williams needs to get rid of Al Haymon. Al Haymon is looking out for Al Haymon's best interests. That means Williams will never get the Floyd fight and if Berto amounts to anything he won't get that fight either.
