You guys are making it sound like these Welters are ducking Williams. THEY ARE NOT!!!
If he wants to fight Welters he should earn his shot in the Welterweight division. Winning fights at Junior Middle and Middleweight earns you absolutely zero points in the Welterweight division.
If a Welterweight strapholder wants to challenge him so be it. There are plenty of challengers fighting at their weight to choose from.
The bottom line is Paul Williams needs to get rid of Al Haymon. Al Haymon is looking out for Al Haymon's best interests. That means Williams will never get the Floyd fight and if Berto amounts to anything he won't get that fight either.
