Possibly coolest thing about Foreman? He said when he was younger he would have pursued mma and boxing at the same time and seen which he was best at.

Ali said Ernie Shavers was the ahrdest puncher ever. His problem was he didnt have the chin to take full advantage of it.
Foreman killed the bag alot worse than Mike did , atleast from clips of the 2 I have seen.

Foreman threw just clubbing blows. Mikes were alot faster and probably just as hard.

gotta disagree, Foreman in his prime was killer, Ali's kidneys are shot mainly due to Frazier and Foreman Im sure of that.
Foreman in his old age hit just as hard as a prime Mike more than likely.
Chuvalo said it best, "getting hit by Joe Frazier is like getting hit by a pinto going 100 miles per hour. Getting hit by George Foreman is like getting hit by a Mack Truck going 40 miles per hour. They both hurt, but theirs a different feelingto them."
Foreman knocked out the Buster Douglas' he faced. Manhandling Frazier and Norton outweighs anything Tyson did IMO. Foremna knocked out 4 men in 1 night!
Guys like Mitch Bood Green and Buster Douglas (along with some others) were able to take a prime Tysons punch.
Before retiring in 1978 Foremans record was 39-2 36 knockouts (losses to Ali and Jimmy Young).
