| M-1 Global is denying a report that Fedor Emelianenko turned down a six-fight $30-million deal this week to join the UFC’s heavyweight ranks. CBS Radio host Carmichael Dave reported Wednesday that Emelianenko had turned down an agreement that would have paid him $5 million per fight. However, Joost Raimond, CEO for M-1 Global, called the report “completely ludicrous” and said negotiations never even reached the point where the number of fights contracted for Emelianenko was decided. “I can say that the guaranteed -- and the word ‘guaranteed’ is of great importance here -- the guaranteed offer made by the UFC is less than what Fedor made before,” Raimond said. “The five-million (per fight) is way, way, way out of range. Half of that is even way out of range of what they offered.” http://sherdog.com/news/news/m-1-fedor-not-offered-30-million-18816

| Yea its still sorry on fedors part the numbers don't really matter. Either way fedor knows the best place for him is the ufc and he won't go because they won't co promote. Like we always have said the UFC will be fine without promoting russian mma and Fedor will be fine without the UFC but M-1 will fail!!! | |

| Like I said yesterday, I don't care if it's a million per fight deal... With everything else that was conceded, Faydoor was chicken shit to balk at the UFC. Loyalty is a bullshit excuse when it comes to deals like this. Hell, I don't care if it was the chump change that Brock, Randy and Chuck make... We all know that with bonuses and PPV shares those guys are making at least two comma's per fight. This loyalty crap and allowing Fink to control his life is nothing more than an excuse and a cover, IMO...
Best fighter on the planet?... Perhaps. Biggest D-bag in MMA?... He's working on it... | |
