Fighters That Should of been Undisputed champ

bird came up with a great topic of fighters that could of won a HW trinket today from the past..id like to take it a step further and say fighters that SHOULD of OR could of been undisputed champ in another era including there own era..ill take it by decades highlighting just the 50s..of course if it were the 40s charley burley would head that list.the 30s billy petrole...ill consintrate just on the 50s..these are just a few ..LH harry kid mathhews danny nardico middles rocky castelanni charley humez joey giambra edwardo lausse gustov shultz henry hank..welters gil turner billy graham gasper ortega del flanagan...any thoughts on the 50s or a list from another decade like the 40s etc etc..

In the 1970's there were a couple of terriffic fighters who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Ruben Castillo-At one point was like 60-4 with his losses coming to Sanchez, Arguello, LaPorte and then late, Chavez. Really a high quality guy.

Yaqui Lopez was kind of the same way. Fought for light heavy honors three times and lost to three HOFers in Saad Muhammad, Victor Galindez and Mike Spinks. He came VERY close to stopping Saad in their second fight.

In other times Billy Petrolle is a great pick. Amazing he only ever got one title shot and he has to run into McLarnin.

hmmmm I think someone like Shavers (yes I know the chin was weak) but the punch was so damn hard I think he could have possibly been undisputed champ in this era, especially when Vitali was gone and Wlad was getting knocked around

he beat the "Carbonized" Jimmy Carter before getting spanked by him so I dont think its a stretch to say he could have, if he was that active in this era, no question he gets something
