Bought Avatar today

Blu ray version

Anyways watched it again, and you know how they're sayin it's gonna be a trilogy, where's the story for the next two gonna come from?

I thought it had solid entertainment but I doubt I'll get it on blu

No idea what they are doing for these sequels but the story will probably be fuckin stupid

Haven't seen it yet, still kicking myself for never going to see it in 3D. I plan on renting in on Friday(payday) in blu ray.

I kind of don't want to see it again. It not being 3d is probably going to ruin it for me. The actual story and what not was kind of ehhh.

How was it on your tv LA ? I have a feeling it wouldn't be as good as seeing it 3D on the Imax.

As for the sequel, JC said last week he's interested in exploring Pandora's oceans and surrounding planets.

The company will come back with more mercenaries, that's pretty obvious.

Kids saw it 3D in the theater... I chose to wait until DVD and was glad I did. Blu-ray made the visuals pretty impressive, but I REALLY thought the story was lacking. Not very original having a wasteful human race searching for other planets to destroy after laying waste to their own...

Looks sick to me,, I mean no shit it isn't Imax, but it still looks real good. Solid enough movie to add to the collection.

OK so it is worth a watch for sure? I hear the story is a little lacking, it was pretty hyped so that might factor in to what people think of it. I haven't seen it yet but want to.

Yeah I got the LCD and PS3, I was going to go with blu ray, really the only way to go with this movie since I can't watch it in 3D.

I bought the blu ray the day it came out. Great movie IMO and the blu ray looks great. I saw it in the theater also in 3d but I thought it was just as good on my 50 inch plasma.

I am not really bothered about 3D tv's, I don't care about watching soccer in 3D. I'll probably get it on Blu Ray.

The next storyline will come from Aladdin or The Lion King.

Unless the next movie explores the damage Jake Sully has done to the people of Earth and portrays a more complex moral dilemma than a Disney flick, count me out.

Visually it was worth seeing once I guess. I have no desire to ever watch that piece of shit otherwise again. I took my kids and couldn't even make it through the second time around.

Most overrated movie of all time.
