| nice post bird.
Cormier should fight Lavar Johnson next.
Lashley should fight Shane Del Rosario next.
Winners face off for a title crack.
Strikeforce may not have the UFC HW division, but they have Fedor who is the best ever, and below him they have a pretty reasonable facsimilie. A large quotient of developing talent anchors Strikeforce's future like it anchors the UFC's. Strikeforce should be feeding these new names to the public at every possible chance if they want to generate credible opponents for Emelianenko. Reasonably, they probably could, as Strikeforce has several fighters signed who are cut from the same cloth that Lesnar, Carwin, Cain and Dos Santos are cut from.
Lavar Johnson, Andrei Arlovski, Antonio Silva, Fabricio Werdum, Shane Del Rosario, Alistair Overeem, Daniel Cormier, Brett Rogers and Roger Gracie.
I've been meaning to make a thread about Strikeforce's rapidly expanding HW division.

Vera was alot more experienced than Mousasi, and Bones grounded him into powder. |

Vera was alot more experienced than Mousasi, and Bones grounded him into powder. Say wha? Mousasi and Vera entered the fight game at around the same time. Yet Mousasi entered combat last night with 31 fights under his belt while Vera walked into his fight with Jones with only 15 career fights. Not to mention Brandon Vera has lost pretty much every semi important fight he's ever been in except for that one with Frank Mir fresh off the layoff.

| Disagree. Mousasi fought great competition at MW and has better wins at LHW. As well as doubling the fights Vera has had.
Vera's best wins at LHW. Andy, Patt and Freddy Kreuger < Sobral and Sokoudjou.
Vera is pretty much a low level gatekeeper. I hate to say it since he has championship talent but saying he has more experience because he fought and lost to guys like Big Tim, Werdum, Jardine, Couture before he got totally scrapped off the road by Jones would pretty much be the same as putting more stock in Stanislav Nedkov's win over Kevin Randleman than Mo's win over Mousasi because Randleman has fought the toughest schedule of fights probably ever throughout his career.

| I am not denying Mousasi is the better fighter, but Vera has faced stronger competition.
Mousasi's got the time to eclipse Vera's competition. |

Cormier's standup looked awful in his first fight, his opponent was young, and did pull a running tito if I remember right. Cormier did outwrestle the guy who was a Mich st wrestler I think. But overall he looked way too short 4 heavy, and was not in great shape.

| I think Bones would beat up Mo while being on his back like Mousasi did. I think Mo is a strong wide hipped guy which can allow his wrestling to be best. Bones might score one of those up kicks though for the win. | |
