| LA. You get over worked on a topic, and you get tunnel vision with an all or nothing mentality. Aoki has always been overrated and I picked Melendez to do just this, but I also don't think this doesn't mean Melendez based on his impressive career and camp isn't a top fighter. He performed this way only because he was a top fighter. | |

| I think he's a top fighter, but I also think there's a bunch of guys that would beat him, I think he's = to Tyson Griffin, not the same kind of fighters, but same level of quality. | |

| I think Tyson Griffin could be UFC LW champion within a year. Melendez is in the class that includes Maynard, Edgar and Griffin...you know, the absolute best in the world. | |

thomson is very good. injuries alone have kept him out of the top 10. Ishida is OK.

| And the fight would stay a boxing match? Yo, because for whatever reason BJ didn't shoot or take it to the ground doesn't mean Gil would do the same thing. Gilbert has great lateral movement too and I am not convinced Edgar would out class him entirely on the feet either. | |

I think we'd get a lot of dancing with Edgar winning with points. He just lands with a higher accuracy vs better fighters than Gil does. Edgar's wrestling is pretty good. Its not like Melendez would be able to overpower him like Maynard did.

| I might give edgar the edge standing, but "box circle's around"? way too strong of an opinion. | |
