| Anderson Silva - In my opinion this guy has more options than anyone at this point. He could continue to defend his middle weight crown against Sonnen, Belfort, and Wand; have a super fight with GSP; or go back to 205 there are some big fights. And we all know Anderson wants big fights. Stay at MW - Sonnen presents an interesting style to might give Anderson problems. Of course Sonnen cannot stand with Anderson, but his greco alone makes him dangerous to beat anyone. You add that to the war or words and we have a pretty entertaining match up and pre fight hype.
- Belfort is one of the few that may has striking in the same dimension as Anderson, but Belfort is still a ways away from fighting and doesn't create a lot of pre fight hype especially since he has 1 half way recent fight in the UFC.
- Wand & Akiyama are co headling UFC 116 with Brock & Shane. If Wand wins it, I could see him getting a shot. Akiyama on the other hand, not so much. Wand is a huge name and would be a blockbuster fight. He, like Forrest, would be a match up served on a silver platter for Anderson though.
The Superfight St. Pierre is obviously the biggest potential fight. We're talking about two top 3 pound for pound guys going toe to toe. The best takedown artist vs the very best at striking. The only real question mark in my mind is where does it take place? I don't think GSP is ready to move to 185 because he's still building himself up so he's not dwarfed by big guys at 185. Anderson has fought there before and claims he'll move down to 170, but I don't see it really being a good weight for him at all. Why not just meet in the middle then? The problem with that is no title so no 5 rounds and that just isn't acceptable. I think this fight is coming, but just not yet. Another wrinkle in this match up Dana White. He currently says he wasn't considering the bout at the moment. While I believe that to be mostly BS, it probably has some truth to it. Move up to 205 - Lil Nog may be out of the question, but if he beats Forrest that'd be a great fight for Anderson. He possesses good stand up and probably doesn't fear Anderson like a lot of fighters.
- You have to think the winner of Rampage-Rashad gets a title shot, but if for some odd reason that doesn't have there'd be another great 205 fight.
- The most realistic 205er I could see Anderson fighting is Jon Jones. In the eyes of the fans Jones is 11-0 (5-0 in the UFC) with all the potential in the world. He may be one of the few athletes that can hang with Anderson.

| As long as it involves him being splashed like a 12 gauge shot through a garbage bag filled with blood, I'm for it. But Vitor for me really. | |

| Silva should be held down by Sonnen and Vitor, to be elbowed by Jon Jones for five rounds. |
