| DJ OGGY is coming to a city near you!
.... if you live in NY haha.
Just bought this sick new mixing board. It has everything and you can scratch and all that. I already have some nice speakers and lights. Me and my friend are gonna try to make a go of it. He'll be the MC and i'll be the DJ. Strait cash off the books plus tips. Not sure what im gonna do about advertising. Cant really afford to put an add in the yellow pages so i'll probably make some fliers and shit and spread them around. The hard part is getting clients at this point. | |

| Get some Magnets for ur car and take out an add during any busy season in ur town when parties are going on. When it is slow just pass out fliers. Get a logo that will stand out. You have to know one person that can draw. The magnets used to get me a deal a month on average when I sold cars. Never know who you will see driving around? They are cheap also. Business cards are better than fliers, but not during big events because they can be expensive. People keep cards more than fliers though. Just some thoughts. Good luck and I will ask my friend a few things for you and get back. | |

| get stuff to put on your car plus you can make flyers for .5cents each. What you need to do is promote a show with drink specials and another big dj or performer and get people to put their logo on your flyer to help pay for the cost. IF not make a nice mixed cd with all of your skills and go around and pass them out to bar and club owners to see if they will pick you up a few nights a week. I have been doing this on and off for years with some of my buddies. We started with strcikly hip hip and reggae and now do just about all of it. GO to the parking lots on fri or sat nights where the clubs are jumping and hit up every car with your flyer for a few weeks strait leading up to your party and they will come. Plus every friend you have must bring a friend. Just hype it up for month prior and it will work out. good luck man | |
