Fighters that have been cut by the UFC

Out of all the fighters that have been cut by the UFC, which one do you wish didn't get cut?

My pick is Tim Boetsch.

dont sit here and tell me he is fucking legit and worthy of a PPV headliner, or worthy to fight TIto Ortiz then when he loses you cut him, dog him, and say he has been threw for a long time.

I have a few. Tim Boetch was a good one. Tamdan McCrory and Thales Leites were bizarre cuts to me after 101. Even though he was immediately resigned, Jon Fitch getting cut pissed me off really badly.

I 2nd LC's motion for removal of the leaves.

Since Hendo, AA and Werdum were NOT cut...i say Thales Leites release was rather hasty.

Recently I'd say Rosholt but he'll be back eventually

I never understood why they cut Caleb Starnes.

Not your usual release though. More like a strongarm and then agreement to a release. They wanted to keep Werdum but revamp his contract and pay him less after he lost to Junior. Something that would have worked in keeping him for cheaper if MMA was a one org sport. Werdum would still be in UFC if he wanted but probably got his usual salary with Strikeforce. UFC put it out there that they did not need Werdum but he still had the option to remain in UFC...This thread is more about the guys who didnt have that option like Thales, O'Brien, Rosholt, etc.

No, it was the usual, "you got knocked out, sign a new contracts or youre cut" "no?" "cut!"

The UFC cut him in a way they don't take the fall for it on message boards.

lol....UFC does not give a FUCK about the message boards...and the message boards don't give a FUCK about a guy coming off a KO loss.

Also, i doubt getting a offer for a new contract is the norm for a UFC release. I'm sure the usual is "loss" and "cut" because i bet most of the guys cut by UFC would take that other contract.

The UFC cut Werdum dude, however messy the break up.

The UFC obviously cares about public opinion though Kings, and surely you understand that is what I meant...? As if I was literally arguing what the UFC thought about message boards. They did this with Crocop too. This is how the UFC has parted ways with several of the already highly ranked Pride fighters and stars.

I was sad to see Rich Clementi and Jason MacDonald go, even if neither were exactly world-breakers.
