Kind of disrespectful. Guy goes from almost winning the title to fighting on prelims...

Well, i'm sure they will air Mayhem's fight if there is time. If he didnt want to do it he could have turned them down like Lashley did because of the lack of guarantee that it will be aired. It's a good oppurtunity to get some work in against someone not on your level and potentially get on CBS.

Tim Stout is 8-7 with notable losses to Luigi Floravanti and Pat Healy

Jesus, it will be a huge black eye for Mayhem if he can't lay waste to Stout in the first minute, IMO. And heaven forbid he loses this fight, prospective bully's on his show will mock and taunt him endlessly... Why take this fight if you're in his position? Doesn't make much sense other than a payday...

they are becomin notorious for these awful matchups.

but I think it's a gaurantee that this fight makes it to tv. At least one of the title fights will end early(i got my money on the main event) and the Mayhem entrance combined with a quick finish make this a sure thing.

They already had JT for 2 fights and he dropped a doughnut in Strikeforce. If he beats Thales it would only establish that Thales probably won't be worth pursuing...but Thales should win that fight.
