| Fitch is lucky Alves wasn't able to roll last Saturday or else his name and a title shot wouldn't be in the same sentence
I'll disagree on that, he already beat the guy once, I think it would have been a long boring fight of takedowns for Fitch. Eventually people will realize, Fitch isn't pretty, but probably no one is beating him at WW besides GSP.

More like Fitch is fucked because now he won a fight and still isn't getting #1 contender love. He beats Alves instead of Killer B and no way Dana could deny his shot. Fitch had to win a fight that put him in the exact same spot he was in. Fitch got fucked.

| No one a WW really deserves a shot. But I guess Fitch is the next best thing to a legitimate contender. | |

Dana's tired of these guys not wanting to fight guys in their camp and I am too. This isn't a team sport, period. If two guys are at the top of the division and they won't fight because they're in the same camp...it hurts the division and the organization. Dana isn't trying to be Fitch's buddy, he's trying to run an organization. It sounds like Dana's going to really start pushing this issue and I'm glad to see him doing it. I'd love to see Fitch and Kos in the cage together. There's no reason they can't fight and still be friends after.
There are plenty of bad things about Dana, but this isn't one of them. +1

There are plenty of bad things about Dana, but this isn't one of them. Koscheck is fighting Daley. How the fuck is he going to fight Fitch in the first place? Are you expecting Fitch to seat for months just to fight the winner of this fight? But it is okay for Fedor to sit and not fight at all? Cmon Ninja you are too biased at times. Fitch vs Kos would be an awesome fight and it would be great to see who should fight GSP. I think Kos will beat down Daley and he should fight Fitch next.

| Kos Daley winner is the title contender.
If Daley wins, he is a redux of the Hardy fight, only this time GSP will try and mangle him, and Koscheck if he wins and has a proper camp actually has the athleticism and wrestling base required to maybe pose a well rounded threat to GSP.

IMO Daley is 10x more dangerous then Hardy. His hands are far more explosive and he can actually threaten GSP on the feet unlike Hardy. But more then likely that won't matter since GSP will do the smart thing and take it to the ground. I actually think if Kos just focused on his wrestling he could neutralize GSP in that area. He is also a good enough athlete to make GSP really work for it. But GSP is just too complete of a fighter and would pick him apart standing.

| Daley has a much less refined ground game. Hardy at least knew rubber guard and was able to barely stave off the finish. Daley offers nothing. If the Goat beat him standing in 09 with jabs, imagine what GSP's double superman jab would do to him. | |

But atleast Daley has the power and speed to actually hurt GSP, something Hardy does not. But you are right about the ground game. I just never felt Hardy even had a punchers chance, I think Daley does. But like I said it likely wouldn't matter, GSP could just take him down at will.

no way we see GSP vs Daley.. If Kos is dumb enough to stand and bang. Seeing how he loves his standup it is possible. IMO Daley is very dangerous striker, far more dangerous then his teammate Hardy. Explosive, powerful hands.

Explosive, powerful hands. yes he is "dumb" / arrogant enough to want to stand with him .. but he knows that he will probably be getting a title shot from a W here... and he saw what GSP just did to his team mate .. he is going to go for takedowns and show that he can do exactly what GSP can do

Agree that it is .. but there is no point to stand with him anyway. I mean I watched the guy get taken down into a full mount... no improving positions or nothing .. just fell there.
