Yeah he looked good. I don't think he will make a title run or anything. He will be better than what he was at LW though.

Nate looked great. So did my boy Paul Harris. It's old school when somebody finishes almost all his fights via heel hook.

Very impressive by Nate. He went from fighting 155 guys to a 177 pounder and beat his ass.

He did look good. He'll be a gatekeeper at WW but he did look good tonight.

I would not say he will be a gatekeeper. He may end up as one but the Diaz bros. are always upping their game and Diaz is still very young. His BJJ and striking will only continue to get better and maybe a move to 170 is just what he needed to bring it all together. All these guys are gatekeepers as long as GSP is on top of that division but i say Nate has a pretty high ceiling.

Dude looked way too scrawny at 155, staying down there was hurting his development, just looked so much more healthy at 170. He will continue to fill out too. Only 24 yrs old, I see him as in the title mix in the not too distant future.

And Nate's gonna be able to pack on even more muscle, he should be better off at WW for sure

Top 170 pounders would whoop his ass. He'll never really be a factor in the title picture. He's fun to watch and was impressive last night, though.

Even at 24 he'll make noise near the top of the division, the weight he put on will make him less susceptible to wrestlers, and the added pop will make his punches more effective even if he is fighting bigger guys. He looks so much better physically at 170..

i dont think he'll be a gate keeper. He put that weight on fast and isn't as filled out as he will be. I think you could clearly see how much more pop he had in his punches. With his jiu jitsu and improving boxing he could make alot of noise in the division. Im interested to see who he fights next. There are`some great` fights for him at WW.

Nate Diaz makes for some interesting fights because he is not afraid to strike and has a sick ground game..reminds me of Carlos Condit!

Nate looked good... Against a guy who peaked by cracking the top-50 about 5 years ago. Let's keep some perspective here. It will be interesting to see how he fares against the better talent to be sure. And since I love the Diaz boys so much, I say give him Almeida next... I mean he looked "alright"...
