| Who do yall think wins this fight and why?
Carwin has the wrestling advantage and I think may even have the advantage standing as well, but Mir's experience and deadly submission skills give him the advantage in the fight.

| I took Frank, but this is about the closest heavyweight matchup I've ever seen. And what's ironic about that is that the fight's not gonna look that way when it's actually played out. There's definitely gonna be a dominant finish by someone, and we're gonna come away super impressed by whoever wins. | |

| Mir should take this easily.
I'm not a fighter basher but Carwin doesn't deserve to be fighting Mir for the interim title. He's beaten exactly one name fighter in his career, and that was an outside-the-top-10 Gabe Gonzaga.

| I thought Carwin was gonna win this fight, but in the past few weeks I have thought Mir would win more and more each day. Mir by KO in the first round. I think he stuffs a TD attempt after hitting Carwin a few times and KO's him soon after. If not he TKO's a gassed Carwin in the late 2nd early 3rd. Mir is impressing me more every day and he was ripped and big at the Conference yesterday. I am starting to feel he will have a much better showing against Brock too. | |

| I got Mir. I think Carwin's stand up is overrated after rewatching his fights. Yes he has as much power a anyone, but he is pretty predictable. Mir is a smart guy and already sees the holes in Carwin's game. Carwin also hasn't seen anyone with Mir's ground skills. Brock fought Mir smart on the ground because how he controlled him first and foremost then landed the GnP. I feel like Carwin just lets the big paws loose which is dangerous if they don't finish the fight quickly.
And all this is coming for someone who can't stand Mir and is a Carwin fan.

| I think Mir's superior striking and experience get him the victory. But Carwin's power makes him extremely dangerous , Mir will have to be on top of his game to survive and break Carwin down. |

| I went back and rewatched a bunch of Carwin's fights. He obviously has potential with his wrestling pedigree and how hard he hits but really there isn't much there. He has absolutely zero head movement on his feet. As long as Mir avoids one big punch early he should pick him and submit him late in the first or in the 2nd when Carwin starts to get exhausted | |

| Carwin def has a chance to KO Mir if Mir tries to stand for to long, even if Mir is working Carwin on the feet at any given moment Carwin could drop him so Frank needs to fight smart and I think he will. Mir by sub in the 2nd | |

What do you consider smart for Mir? Carwin is the better wrestler and will control where this fight goes.

What do you consider smart for Mir? Carwin is the better wrestler and will control where this fight goes. I'm saying he needs to take the first sub that comes to him, even if he's winning the standup, and not chance Carwin connecting. Carwin is the better wrestler but if Mir uses his standup to throw Carwin off Mir can get this fight to the ground where he can get the sub

| I expect Frank to come out patient while Carwin will probably bum rush at the start of this fight but given Carwin's complete and total lack of anything resembling head movement on his feet and with Mir's added mass, a stoppage here for Mir as a result of a big shot is certainly in play as the fight wears on IMO | |

I could see that happening. I think if Mir rocks him early this will play out like his fight against Kongo. Mir rocks Carwin and then submits him quickly.

| I can't believe people think this fight lasts until the later rounds at all. A tough fight between these two would likely lead to them standing gasping for air with their hands in their pockets if we see a third round. Someone wins big and early. | |

| Yeah I don't know what I was thinking when I said early third round. It should not get past the second round for sure. It will prolly be the first round or early 2nd round. I still can't say who will win for sure. If I had a free bet I would take Mir I guess. He is looking like he is serious about his career and if it wasn't for the wreck he might be mentioned as one of the great HW's by now. I can't wait to see this fight! | |
