| http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Belfort-Hieron-Navigate-Affliction-Fallout-18707Sherdog is reporting that Jay Hieron's agent is in negotiations with Strikeforce for Hieron to jump into the title bout with Nick Diaz. This is an event more interesting match up as this will be a major test for Diaz to see how good he really is. Both are trained for a fight and would be in good fighting shape. I hope this goes down. | |

| Diaz hasn't fought anyone of Hieron's caliber who wasn't injured severely before the fight.
He'd have a real chance. | |

| I agree that he's got a real shot at it but I love both of the Diaz boys so it's kind of a biased response. | |

| This fight probably depends more on Jay's sub defense. Jay would get him down but could he keep from being sub'd? | |
