Come on give Cruz some credit LA he was to quick and active for bowles. Plus his wrestling was better.

I'm surprised he didn't come out for another round and just try to use his wrestling when he caught a Cruz kick or something. That's weak

yeah i noticed he wasnt throwing the right and when he was it was clubbing.. Hard to fight with broken hand but Faber did it so i expected bowles to do it aswell

Fighters fight with broken hands often. Most don't even realize it until after the fight. I have broken my left hand 3 times and had surgery twice on it.

First punch of the fight, that explains why he wasn't fighting like himself, I'd take Bowles in a rematch.

He can fight Torres again.

Bowles is champ again in 2 fights IMO. Wonder how long it will take that hand to recover though

Well LA i know he will be back he needed to lose he needs more experience. I still would take cruz he was faster and has more dynamic strikes. He also has better wrestling.

Yo no need to hate on a fighter for not continuing with a broken hand. That is his best weapon and if he uses it he risks his entire career with further injury. No hate here.

You got better wrestling out of 1 takedown and a guillotine attept by Bowles where Cruz fell into gaurd, in a fight where a guy breaks his hand right off the bat.

Come on man I am not hating but its the biggest stage in the world. Its a championship fight. If there is a time to take a risk it would be then.

Not just from taking him down but from also outwrestling benavidez. It seems as if nobody paid attention to Cruz until now. Thats what happens when you break your only weapon

Wrong. Faber only had one broken hand.

Cruz is good and there is no one on the horizon who looks able to beat him if Bowles doesn't in the rematch. Maybe Jorgensen, but I doubt it.
