| Yeah Kongo should decapitate Paul. I can see Buentello pulling off a KO in this fight though. It won't go past the first round imo either way. I still have to go with Kongo by KO. | |

Kongo by murder. I have Kongo winning this one. And I did say "BRUTAL KO" Kongo is too fast and powerful for Buentello IMO but I still think there could be some early fireworks in this fight before it ends viciously. I am still excited for it.

| kongo will be able to use his being dutch alone to keep PB on the outside. I even believe if he got off on kongo, Kongo would survive | |

| I don't see Buentello dropping Kongo. He couldn't even take out Struve with those telegraphed flying knee's Struve was trying for. He looked seriously gassed by the end of the second round, I don't see Kongo getting caught by a guy that slow and out of shape. | |

I dont either for real. I just meant it could happen. More than likely it won't. I am still wondering why Buentello is back in the UFC?

| Boys i will go against the crowd and say I got the HeadHunter by KO. Kongo has good striking but has been known to leave his chin out there alittle. Mir isnt a great striker and KOed Kongo and although Buentello isnt Mir I can see him landing a big shot and ending this fight. | |

If Kongo loses this kiss your UFC career goodbye Mr French No shame losing to Cain & Mir. Buentello would be how first "bad loss". He is getting 45K to show and 45K to win. That's a good chunk of change for someone not in the top 20 in their division.

| I'm going Buentelo also. Kongo strikes harder, that's all I see going for him. Paul has a knack putting his punches on the money. R2 tko. | |

| Yeah I did I have never been a fan of Kongo's robotic striking. He does have power though and if he connects with Buentello it will be good night. I am not crazy about my pick because athletically Buentello has a big disadvantage. Kind of my risky choice. | |

| headhunter pretty decent standup defense at times. He could land the shot first. I think Kongo's chin is the bigger questionmark following a performance where he was both knocked out and choked out in under a minute by Frank Mir and the first shot he landed. | |

| you can definetely give buentello the puncher's chance and kongo last fight only makes you wonder more but one of the reasons Mir got that big punch in is because Kongo was completely scared of being taken down and submitted that he left himself open and with paul he doesnt have to worry about the takedown..
i see kongo hitting him with some vicious kicks and trading with buentello and then finishing the fight late first..

| Not to mention Mir has gotten huge. Anyone who weighs that much is going to throw one hell of a punch, especially with years of training in strikes(he may not be the best but we know he tries to be as well rounded as he can). | |

Being strong does not make you hit any harder(well maybe a little). For example Tito has always been one of the strongest LHWs but hits like a FW lol the same goes for Forrest! It has mostly to do with technique and where you punch from. Just look at how Cain's power in his striking has seemed to increase in his last few fights.

| Your doubting that size often equals power when it comes to throwing a punch? So then it was pure boxing technique that broke Heath Herrings orbital, and not the fact that the guy throwing the punch cuts weight to get to 265lbs and is very strong? I'm not saying technique isn't necessary. But at some point sheer strength can and often does play a pretty sizeable factor when it comes to standing strikes. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2010/2/27/1329384/mariusz-pudzianowski-vs-tim-sylviaI rest my case... | |
