| The last one on TV was a little better. The last one I went to was Gurgel vs. Evangelista. It was not remarkable. Maybe I needed better seats and to not be so loaded with expensive arena beer. Most of the fights on the main card were not good though. Over matched opponents getting handled quickly. There were a couple of good local fighters on the under card who got some exciting tko's, Olsen and Escovedo. The main event was sloppy, not highly entertaining, probably because of Gurgel. The Del Rosario fight was weird because the ref called it quick, Rosario was getting jacked up, then changed his mind, then it was over kinda quick again, no body knew what was going on. Fighter name recognition aside, it was an average showing. I'm still going to the next one though. | |

- I thought the event was OK, the fights were good, but the all too common to SF ref problems again reared it's head. The "pick up the pace" mantra has to come from up top, it happens it just about every challenger series. Aside from that,
This is a commission issue, and has nothing to do with SF or their policy. | |
