| lol@bird and the football stuff. Randy could have been the all time LHW goat, but he spent most of his time at HW. The point with the other analogies I am making is how one or two legendary wins doesn't vault him over guys like Wanderlei, Tito or Liddell who made careers out of legendary wins and title reigns that lasted years. He could have been in that category, but his exploits at HW take him down a few notches over true LHW's who have just as many awesome wins. - Quote :
- Wow, no love for Randy... Beating two at one time seen as indestructible fighters in the lightheavyweight division back to back and constantly defying the word "impossible" just doesn't do it for you eh? I'd have to put Randy up higher than Rampage because of Rampage's poor game planning and seemingly lackluster performances in some of the larger fights he's been in before, during, and after his run at the title. Not to mention Rampage has a tendency to lose hard when he loses(save for the Griffin fight). He tends to get worked over pretty hard when he loses(IE Shogun and Wanderlei) whereas Couture is always game with exception of the second fight with Liddell.
Don't take what I am saying as hate on Couture. He is one of my favorite fighters, but it's not like he hasn't under performed or lost badly in spots as well. He has more losses than Jackson and less wins. I am not here to debate the in's and out's of his career vs these other guys, but I just don't think three valid LHW wins is enough to move him to second place on the all time list.

| I didn't put him second, I'd rate him at 4th or 5th though, at least ahead of Rampage. | |

| ya, I said I could rank him 4th, but Rampage has a valid case too, considering he was the first undisputed LHW champion, having unified the Pride titles, his wins over Liddell and Arona and others.
I'd have to look at it. | |

I get what your saying, IDK though I dont rank Tito higher than Randy I think he would have beat him if they fought earlier also

Yes, which makes it ridiculous that they not only fought 3 times when one time made it clear enough, but they were going to fight a 4th time time until Saku pulled out and Mark Hunt replaced Saku and beat Wandy ending his run of dominance. DId you watch hunt vs Wand??? Go watch it and tellme who won

| Wanderlei robbed, and even if it was so close it could have gone either way, with the weight discrepency it should have defaulted to the smaller fighter. | |
