| Wolf is right GSP would beat them all. I pointed it out the other day and I will point it out again. The great Cung Le got beaten by Scott Smith. Scott Smith got beaten by Ed "Short Fuse" Herman. Are you trying to tell me that EH is going to be a UFC Champion? Reality bites, but SF has only three plausible UFC level fighters. Fedor, Gegard, and Hendo. Nuff said. | |

So Cung Le losing to Scott Smith(whom diaz KO'd by the way) means that Diaz is not a plausible UFC level fighter? No offense but this is probably the worst use of MMA math in Ninja's place history.

| Are you attempting to tell me that Diaz is UFC material? If so, why isn't he there? I realize he has 3 losses in the UFC and they were sometime ago, but really? Do you think he could really beat GSP? Fitch? or a host of any other UFC fighters in his current weight class? | |

| I don;t see how anyone can say Nick is clearly a better striker than Hardy. Hardy has soem serious hands. | |

What, he couldn't beat Fitch? You've put that on the "not happening" level? And if someone loses to Fitch that means that fighter is not UFC material?

| GSP is far and away the best striker at WW.
BJ Penn has the best boxing in MMA and he out-landed him in their last battle, and even when GSP was younger and supposedly got destroyed in that first round against Penn, the round was very close, but GSP is just a natural bleeder and shows more damage.
His wrestling increases his striking ability - this is true - but do not be so dumb as to translate that into - "in straight striking GSP loses every time". That is ass fucking babble.
His reflexes, speed and athleticism already give him tremendous advantages, along with his original karate base and now everything he has trained since then. Thiago Alves never came close to landing anything significant in five rounds. GSP saw it all coming and avoided it all with Anderson Silva/Machida like elusiveness.
Because he is a complete fighter and uses takedowns better than anyone else in the game doesn't mean his striking gets penalized.
GSP would knock Nick Diaz the fuck out in a kickboxing ring.

| Farmer I agree and Hardy has some serious toughness, but I really don't think anyone outside of A. Silva throws as much or as accurately as Diaz. I just don't think he is all that. His game is not nearly as well rounded as he (and Showtime) would like us to think it is. | |

Well I think he is, but clearly might be a little strong. But Nick is also much more accomplished on the ground. I'd have to favor Nick.

And if someone loses to Fitch that means that fighter is not UFC material? Do not discuss MMA with Andrew. He started watching during Rampages run as champion and doesn't have a clue how the sport works. Anyone in the UFC is better by default to him. He is too simple/stupid to understand fight promotion or the business at all. He is unable to grasp the concept that the UFC doesn't always have the best fighters in the world mentally. This goes far beyond simple UFC homerism. I would ban him from the forum if I could.

| Very objective of you Wolf. I love the way your simplistic mind weaves its way through the fibers of society. So how is the plumbing business going? | |

| Well, Andrew, Nick Diaz WAS in the UFC for two and a half years. Losing only by decision during his time there to guys like Karo Parysian, Sean Sherk, and Diego Sanchez. He also beat Josh Neer, Robbie Lawlor, Drew Ficket, and Gleison Tibau.
Since leaving the UFC Nick Diaz has gone 7-1 and 1 NC, 6 of those wins coming consecutively now. Why he isn't in the UFC has little to do with his abilities today. Try doing some research before you label a guy second rate.
