| There will be no more talk of Diaz' lack of punching power or weak standup game. | |

Nick Diaz is fuckin awesome. Shamrock also said that the punches didn't hurt they confused him. Nick will never have what it takes against elite competition, Z just made his name doing something he MIGHT not do ever again with the KO head kicks. He didn't even throw a head kick and he was lost.

| Frank also said Cung Le's kicks and punches don't hurt. I don't think Frank realizes that punches and strikes stop hurting once your knocked half the fuck out. | |

| Frank said the weird angles from which Diaz threw punches caused him confusion. Nick isn't a big puncher, but it doesn't take big punches to knock people out. Just hit your opponent in the right place and they're out. He's unorthodox in his striking and it's awesome. I was stressing, though, when he got knocked down. Happy to see him recover and win. | |

Diaz has his own striking technique, which hasn't really failed him yet, and that's what I like about him.

He doesn't have the best punching power. It took him 95 connected punches to finish the fight. Now his stand up game is far from weak.

He landed a few shots in the first round and knocked him out in the second with 1 punch.

| In the end it was one punch, right on the button, and Lawler's footing was way off. Diaz is one of the lighter weight fighters who really uses his reach to an advantage. | |

| He looked good.
I knew Zaromskis is small for a welterweight but with somebody lanky like Diaz, he just looked completley overmatched. He could not keep Diaz from hitting him.

Nick will never have what it takes against elite competition, Z just made his name doing something he MIGHT not do ever again with the KO head kicks. He didn't even throw a head kick and he was lost. I think shamrock was confused when u made that statement.

It's hard to head kick a guy who is way taller then you. And as noted during the fight, the way Diaz holds his arms out there makes it difficult as well.

He doesn't have the best punching power. It took him 95 connected punches to finish the fight. Now his stand up game is far from weak. Well he doesn't have one punch KO power. and that has alot to do with how he delivers the punches, and that is a conscientious decision. I think he could throw with more power, but it would open him up more, and not allow him to throw as many punches as he does. But the guy obviously has power.
