Kenny's really been lucky to avoid Edgar, Sherk, Maynard and Griffin in that division, and Diego the same, he got his shot without facing any of them.
But Edgar and Maynard had not fully emerged when he got his shot. And outside of Griffin vs Sherk, non of the four mentioned have fought each other either. there's enough talent at 155 that possible contendors can fight interesting fights without fighting other possible contendors.

there's enough talent at 155 that possible contendors can fight interesting fights without fighting other possible contendors. Frankie has fought Griffin, Sherk, Gray, Franca, Fisher and Bocek in the UFC LW division, while it may be said that there wasn't a unanimous contender at the time, Kenny just went through a couple eh guys to get there, think like J-Lo, Heurta and Stevenson, he might have been the guy at the time, but it doesn't negate the fact he was able to avoid all those guys, and even still, as his next fight is Gomi, not Griffin or whoever.

But BJ destroyed Kenny as well only worse. Kenny does not have the TD defense that BJ does. Never has and never will.

| How was it worse? Diego's face looked like it fell into a meat grinder and he should've been stopped in the first round | |

I thought Diego took the worse beating, but they were equally noncompetitive.

| Yeah neither of them had any chance but I don't see how BJ destroyed KenFlo worse than Diego | |

| Diego took everything BJ had and kept coming and nearly made it to a decision. Diego can at least say he went 5 rounds with BJ and wasnt submitted or knocked out. | |
