| Who are the best .500 or sub .500 fighters in the MMA world, here are some notables I can think of off top of my head.
Vernon FUCKING White - Man how did I not think of this earlier. ahh shit - 26-33-2.
Michihiro Omigiwa - 9-8-1, 4 losses in his first 5 fights with wins over Hioki and Takaya in his last 2 fights. The best active .500 guy in my opinion, atleast while Im stoned and my mind is foggy
Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett [- 22-16-2 Ok over .500 but he is close and the epitome of a sub 500 fighter, talented but not committed. Wins over Maeda and KJ Noons were very big, also has losses to Faber, Gomi, and Kawajiri to name a few.
Tank Abbott - first fighter on the list with a losing record. 10-14, before you start jumping on me freaking out saying he is a bum. Remember one thing and ask yourself this. Could anybody else have lost 2 UFC fights in a row and got a Heavyweight Title shot (as he did vs Maurice Smith), people knew they better show up in shape vs the Tank. Basically lost everytime the competition stepped up, vs Taktarov, Severn, Frye, Belfort, Maurice Smith, Rizzo, Mir, and hell even Scott Ferrozzos and Kimo. But he was always entertaining, fun, and a dangerous opponent.
Kevin Randleman - 17-14, pretty damn close. But I think he is the best fighter on the list so far and I dont think anyone would argue with that. A former UFC Heavyweight Champ, kind of funny, wins vs Maurice Smith (who was coming off his loss to Couture), Pete Williams (for the title), and Pedro Rizzo (his first defense), all big wins. Add in wins vs Babalu, Cro Cop and Murilo Rua, those truly solidify he is a great .500 area fighter.
Gary Goodridge - 23-20-1, wins over Don Frye, Jerry Bohlander, Overeem, and Taktarov very impressive, lost to alot of great fighters as well. Big Daddy was a tough out, but he has definently gotten past his best days, lost his last 5. Competed in all thetop organizations as well. Please feel free to add, I will add more if I remember more

| close to 500. fighters.
Evangalisa Santos at 17-13
Mark Hunt 5-6. Look at who this guy has fought. If he did not let himself go like he did, he could have had a better career.

| Randy Couture is getting awful close these days. Matt Serra is only 9-6 I believe and he knocked GSP the fuck out. | |

| Carlos Newton never got far past .500 his entire career, but always managed to fight at a high level until age caught up with him. After his loss at Pride 3 to Sakuraba, he was 3-3, but that hid the fact he put on an amazing run through the UFC 17 tournament, losing only to Dan Henderson in the final in what remains one of Hendo's closest fights and most controversial decision wins. He weighed almost nothing and corkscrewed Henderson with a wicked slam, and nearly KO'd Hendo twice.
He then managed to build his way up to stay around 5 above .500 until the nightmare losing streak that started in 04, but in 09 he went without a loss and remains two up in the win column again.

| Well more recently I would have to say Clay Guida. He is only 4-5 in his last nine bouts. But he always brings it, no matter how bad he is getting beaten. | |

| Ortiz is 5-5-1 starting in 03. I'd say he's been pretty good the last 7 years at .500 | |

| Tito is 5-5-1 since his loss to Couture in 03, still racking up wins over Vitor Belfort, Forrest Griffin, Patrick Cote and having very tough fights with Rashad and his rematch with Forrest end in a split decision loss and a controversial draw. | |

| Couldn't you make the argument that Vitor won the 1st two rounds of that fight with Tito? It's been a long ass time since I've seen that fight but I remember Vitor easily winning the 2nd and Tito easily winning the 3rd with the 1st a pretty close one | |

Ya it was, I actually broke that one out a couple months ago from the DVD collection and rewatched it cause it had been a long time Sadly I thought Tito won on rewatching it, but I could see how an argument could be made for Vitor I dont know if you remember but Tito did a victory lap walking around the stadium, almost made me fucking puke
