| yeah thats what you need to do when you are driving 200mph, "mix it up". Sounds like a bad idea to me, I know they want to energize the sport but this has major accedent written all over it. | |

| Well, I hope they mean verbally or in the pits after the race. It wouldn't surprise me though if they mean on the track since they think it's a good idea to have all 43 cars driving in a pack 6" apart at 200+ on the super speedways. Restrictor plates area bad idea, and so is allowing bumper cars at any speed... | |

| Nascar, the dumbest sport in history.
If driving is a sport, then I must be an athlete too.

Ive watched Nascar on more than one occasion. The only thing its good for is putting me to sleep lol Its just one of those things that people already have their mind made up about. When I finally saw a race in person I realized only a crazy mother fucker would do that shit. You have to be out of your fucking mind to ride inches away going that damn fast. Seeing it live in person gave me a whole new respect for those guys. The crashes are flat out brutal, the noise is like nothing I have ever heard. It takes an extreme amount of skill just to not die.

| Not a fan of Nascar, but I fully understand how talented those guys are at what they do, my beef, why do they have to just drive in circles? (ovals) | |

personally I can't stand fucking road courses, which are the only races that have right and left turns. I preffer the oval. Let the smaller Indy cars take the turns. Long straight aways is where its at for NASCAR.

| SOONERS revealing he loves Nascar and American Idol in one day. Sheesh.
Nascar's popularity exploded even more once "3" died, I guess Dale Jr being a whiner and a bust who can't win a race for shit coupled with the fact Jimmie Johnson isn't marketable and unbeatable under the current format means Nascar has to make a change.
Maybe they think JJ will be more marketable if he is dead?

Maybe they think JJ will be more marketable if he is dead? ha ha twisting my words. I love American Idol auditions, this is true. After the auditions are over I no reason to watch. Like I said I watch NASCAR during the football offseason. Don't "love" it by any means. I do however respect it.

| Yeah how sad is it that Jr sucks, he's still by far the most popular driver too.

| I never said it didnt take talent to do it, or that it didnt take some courage to do it.
BUT if I was getting paid that kind of money to do it, I would definately risk life and limb to do so.
And also, alot of those accidents are blown so out of proportion its not even funny. They have so much padding and shit propping up certain sections of the car that unless its a REALLY BAD accident, you have a pretty minimal chance at even getting scratched.
