This is a good fight for Lashley. Promotional debut, hasn't fought in a while, isn't even a full time fighter. I really despise the double standard for him.

Yes and no. Any loss hurts fighter hype but Lashley has never been hyped for any reason other than his celebrity, and a loss doesn't take that away.

Simms looked terrible on TUF.

If Lashley cant beat Sims at this point in his career he should give up mma and just stick to wrestling. I think Lashley is gonna be decent though he should take this easily.

I see this as a somewhat credible choice, which is better then some of the other names being attached to Lashley.

Raiding the tuf loser bracket is a pretty smart way of finding recognizable talent to feed guys an org is trying to build up.
