| Ya, called that shit too. I knew at least one judge would see it for Diaz.
As for the whole NOTHING for Penn business, I agree, right now, but remember, this guy is still a rookie compared to Penn, and it is doubtful he'd box with him the whole time. If he improves even more over the next year or so in all areas, works takedowns and tries to tire BJ out, his boxing could be a lot more effective in a fight with Penn, as good as it's getting. | |

| Like I said in the other thread(which I couldn't figure out how to merge into this one), Maynard could attempt the GSP/Hughes game plan that involves tiring Penn out and working the takedown game to set up boxing. No one besides Kenflo who is skinny and not an elite wrestler has tried it in the weight class. Not clear if it would work on BJ at 55, but it's the only shot anyone has. Maynard and Sherk are the only UFC fighters who could possibly pull it off. | |
