Why is Diaz vs Guillard being billed as the main even over Maynard vs Huerta?

I think they are doing a co-main event just like TUF Finale with Diego vs Guida and Nate vs Joe. They just have Nate and Melvin bigger on the poster.

Yeah who knows how huerta performs. At least melvin and nate will both be their to win.

Being bigger and fighting after being billed as the bigger fight. Obviously it is co-main, but I don't even consider it that important of a fight. Guillard is 2-2 in his last few UFC fights while Diaz is coming off of a 2 fight losing streak. Neither are contenders. Now Heurta just lost to the #1 contender at LW (Kenflo) after winning his 1st 6 UFC fights. Maynard is 7-0 and should be 8-0. This is a no brainer in my opinion.

Farmer... I don't really understand either except Diaz and Melvin always give exciting fights, always. You can't deny how entertaining those 2 can be, win or lose. That is my only explanation, not saying it is right.

I agree they definitely do.

This is bogus, imo roger and maynard are both better fighters than nate and melvin.

Melvin vs Diaz is a more marketable fight since both of these guys are certified dumbshits who are bound to talk hella trash to eachother, while Maynard and Huerta are nice guys.

Maybe the fact that most normal people hate Nate Diaz and want to watch him lose makes him a more marketable fighter somehow. I don't really know, but I'd much rather watch Roger Huerta and Gray Maynard fight any day.
