| He is looking very improved IMO. His stand up has really come around in the last few fights. He's moving better (feet and head), keeping his hands up, and throwing combos. I hope I don't jinx him with this post, but I think this kid has a bright future.
Now ultimately I think his lack of athletic ability & power will keep him from getting to the 'next' level.

| He keeps fucking up, though. He rocks Blackburn, then takes him down. Does he not know what to do to finish? I guess he's just content to win by decision. | |

| Well Done.
By Both fighters.
Amir's bounce(mostly in the 1st) and front kick's make me think his athleticism is actually pretty good.
Could probably get in better shape still as well.
Wasn't overly impressed by his GnP efforts. But a very good fight nuntheless.

| He wasn't trying to win a decision, he was trying to sub or GnP but still lacks the experience to put him away. Still, he beat that ass, and his knees from any type of clinch situation are sick. | |

| Yeah he looked OK but i was expecting more fireworks in this fight. I figured Blackburn would take more chances. | |

That knee in the 3rd came from way down town. Very impressive.

No joke. The only difference is the Amir uses a more MT stand up and is more technically sound and Forrest has SOME LEGIT WINS!

| Meh. He won and all but the first two rounds reminded me of how the Machida-Shogun fight was called by Rogan..."omg AMIR WITH A KICK...OMG ANOTHER KICK...KICKS KICKS KICKS" while everytime he lands a kick, Blackburn socked him right in the mouth.
Amir aint gon be nuttin | |

| Amir definitely looked good last night. He definitely needs time to evolve as he's still an extremely green fighter but his progression has been moving along quickly. I don't know why he always went for the takedown when he had Blackburn rocked, though. He probably could've finished the fight if he kept throwing instead of getting a takedown. | |

| Amir fights like a kangaroo. Bouncing all over the place and then throwing big heavy front kicks.
And I didn't mind Rogan's call in this fight cause Amir's kicks were hurting Blackburn. Blackburn had the better hands in that fight, it was Amir's kick's and knee's that made the difference.

| Lets be real here the only reason they say he is so much like forrest is because 1. That was his coach on the show 2. Cause he jokes when you put a mic in his face
They don't fight the same way like Nate tries to fight like Nick. Know what I mean?

I agree I also thought Blackburn looked like he was gassing which suprised me cause I watched a video were he was talking about all this work he put in on his cardio. I wonder if he over worked himself
