| Word is that a possibility exists that WBC super featherweight champion Humberto Soto will fight former lightweight world champion David Díaz on the big March card headlined by Manny Pacquiao against TBA in Las Vegas. Soto would again be campaigning at lightweight after beating Jesus Chavez in his most recent fight, but he doesn’t plan to give up his WBC 130lb belt. http://www.fightnews.com/?p=34092 |

| I like his proposed fight with Valero better, but that has always been unlikely with Valero fighting a top 10 guy in DeMarco a month before. But hey Diaz is a tough guy who would give Soto a tough fight. | |
