| I don't see a problem and his rationale is perfect for the situation. | |

| I'm kind of torn, I applaud him for doing it because he didn't want to hurt the other guy and it would have happened. It's the amateurs so the record doesn't mean anything.
On the other side the guy needs to get beaton down, he doesn't belong in there and needs to know that. Some people just don't get it and thats the only way they'll know.

Totally agree with everything you said. Also the lenient guy needs to grow an eye of the tiger because he can't feel sorry for fighters if he was a pro.

| We should always applaud any act of good sportsmanship imo. We live in an age where humility and selflessness are outdated philosophies, so good on him I say.
If I'd had money on him to win i might be less understanding though.

| ups for that dude, my friend pleaded with a ref for stoppage in a pro fight where he finally mounted the guy and just pitterpatted until ref finally stopped it. He pleaded as he lightly punched the guy and counted them out to the ref
I applaud this although I would have tried to make the guy unconscious. Maybe its a difference between a true martial artist and a fighter.
