It's just a traditional NFL right of passage. It's not like a stupid frat making people drink a gallon of vinegar or the Bulldogs going 6 on 1 belt knuckles against him for 3 minutes 3 times. He doesn't have to do it, Roy even said it was cool, that he'd target him for something else, as in some kind of practical joke or something. They aren't trying to do bad things to the rookies, it's a right of passage, team/character/camaraderie thing.

Serg is one of my best friends, Greg mcCoy (bad ass TCU defender who had sick punt return) went o high school with me as well friends with him but not best friends, ran into Stafford at a couple parties and the airport 1 time. Justin Wren to a couple of my best friends high school, Jason Smith played football at W.T. White with another one of my good friends so met him through him

just luck of the draw i guess

and oh ya Anthony Randolph (new Knick) went to my High school as well, he was stuck up though

I met Beanie Wells in a scrimmage my freshman year...needless to say he trucked pretty much anyone in his path.

it was hilarious one time Randolph called one of our bud's Big Ham (big beast of a O line men) a fat ass, Ham was like what did you call me

Randolph : "I said your a fat........"

he also got in a fight with this little ass white kid who was like 5'5 kid was a freshman when Randolph was a junior, Randolph won but the kid tagged him good and Randolph couldnt knock him out everyone gave him shit for that

Also met a couple other small time NFL players that have come up from Akron football as well. Tyrell Sutton, who went to Hoban, Antonio Pittmann who went to Buchtel, James Harrison who went to Coventry...he stopped into my work a couple times earlier this year actually...didnt realize it was him...just seen a ripped dude and asked him what the hell he does and he told me LMAO!

Let me put it this way....I was like a 150 lb safety my freshman year and Beanie was AT LEAST 225 lbs at that time and pry still ran a 4.5 or 4.6...picture that mammoth running at you hahhaha
