I don't know if that thought is a necessity.   Could one just feel uncomfortable with a gay person without believing them to be inferior.   Not saying it's right either way, but there could be other reasonings for his bias.  

That would be simple enough to explain. But by refusing to give any reasoning at all it's hard to believe it would be as simple as that. If he is uncomfortable around gay people because he feels they are checking him out or whatever, it's a pretty ignorant reason but at least it's a reason. I think Freak is scared to give his views because he is a bit of an extremest.

Now Im prob not going to have kids, so this is all a big hypothetical.

But I will say I'd rather have a straight son then a gay one. Is that fucked up? I'd rather have a boy then a girl. Is that fucked up? I dunno, I Imagine I'd love them either way, but that's just how I think I'd feel if I were planning on having kids.

As per gay son vs Porn daughter? I guess I go the former, but if we are asking for acceptance with the gay son, are we hypocritical in not asking the same for the daughter who is very sexually liberated?

Is it at all relevant that I'd much rather watch girl on guy porn then gay porn?

Does that show a level of acceptance?

First off people need to stop throwing the term "extremist" around likes it's nothing.

And I think Captain has a point.

Personally, I have gay friends, we get along fine when hanging out in social situations. But the sight of 2 men being affectionate is... well kind of off putting. I find the act of gay sex kind of repulsive, but I acknowledge that it is fine for them to do it in the privacy of their home.

Now is that biased? Yea. Absolutely. I don't have the same problem watching lesbians doing the same thing though. And I acknowledge that it is a double standard, but that is just how I feel.

So while I would never advocate hating someone, especially because of sexual preference, I also wont hate on those who don't want to associate with homosexuals as long as they are not disrespectful and hateful towards them. They have that right.

While we all watch it, it is degrading and I would never want my daughter or child in general to do porn and be exploited like that. I wouldn't disown my child or anything, I would still support them, but I would definitely feel an overwhelming sense of guilt and failure as a parent.

But does it NEED to be degrading. Is it without exception exploitation? could a girl not be in porn merely because she is sexually liberated? What if she owned her own porn bizz, loved the work, and made all the $$$?

Also is it a "double standard" if we ENJOY girl on girl porn while we are REPULSED by guy on guy? Is the man's perspective not in play there. Thus man on man is different then girl on girl. I think the double standard would be disapproving a certain guy on guy while approving another. Just an aside, but trying to slice away the fat from the argument.

Exactly. I don't know why Freak would think he is too good to be friends with someone because of their sexual preference. Why he feels a person is not worthy of his friendship simply because they have a different sexual preference. It implies to me that he thinks gay people are below him. But he won't answer because there is nothing he can say that isn't hate filled or just ignorant.

I don't have to justify who I give my friendship too. I can be friends with whoever the fuck I want.

Sure you can and you can hate who you want to. I can't stop you from hating gay people. It just shows what kind of character person you are. You obviously view gay people as inferior.
