| No. Game was done. Would of looked like a selfish jackass going for individual records at that point, would not of meant as much either unless the game got close again, then it would of been more respectably justified. | |

| I thought he should've went for it. It would've been a record that never would've gotten broken. |

| The way passing has been trending the past few years, I think every possible passing record has a shot of being broken and re-broken in this qb era. | |

First time in 44 years a QB gets 7 td passes in 1 game. |

| depends how you look at it really. there's no need to risk injuries to run up the score when you're 22 points up in the last couple of minutes, that sort of thing was frowned upon not so long ago.
still, no doubt other coaches and QB's would've gone for it.

| Manning is what you call a pussy in America freak. He sat out a week instead of going undefeated in the regular season and still lost in the playoffs. There was no way he was going for a record. These guys are professionals if you can't stop it that's your own fault that's why Brady is a god and doesn't show any mercy and goes for it all.

| If you don't play good enough to stop 7 tds then you don't deserve mercy. |

that's not how peyton carries himself, he's old school and his dad would probably have scolded him for running up the score. new school guys who consider their name a 'brand' would've gone for it if they thought it would get them a few more twitter followers. brees would've definitely gone for it, brady and rodgers might have gone for it. peyton was raised the old fashioned way though.
