T.J. Grant injured, Anthony Pettis now meets champ Benson Henderson at UFC 164

Not a fan of this decision. He challenged Aldo at 145 and pulled out only to get back in line at 155. I call bullshit. All that said I'm excited to see the fight again.

i kind of hope Bendo wins. Pettis has been douching it up lately.

also, TJ aint hurt...he got bumped.

Oh wait a concussion sustained in grappling for a fight over 7 weeks away.

This ought to be a good fight still, but I was looking forward to Grant vs Henderson more so it comes with a little disappointment. I think Grant is the more deserving challenger at 155. Since Pettis arrived in this promotion his 3-1 campaign has not been as stellar as the current 5 fight streak Grant is riding at LW in that exact same time span. Pettis gets a little overrated easily because he has thrown and finished a couple of guys with flashy kicks but many seem to skim over his ineffectiveness against Guida or his pedestrian performance against Stevens. Pettis has not been bad, but I think Grant has been doing it better and I really look forward to him fighting for the title very soon.

I expect another close 5 round fight between Pettis and Henderson but I am leaning Henderson. Pettis won their first contest by the extremely narrow margin of one single strike. I don't see that lightening striking twice.

Grant still not fully recovered from concussion symptoms hopes to start training again around Christmas for our resident conspiracy theorists  

Hopefully TJ gets better and is smart enough to not rush things back. I do worry about his health moving forward though, especially if he gets KO'd or really beat up during a fight
