Mark Hunt (9-7 MMA, 4-1 UFC) had an opportunity to replace injured Alistair Overeem (36-12 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and fight Junior dos Santos (15-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) but turned it down, according to UFC President Dana White.

Overeem bowed out of the UFC 160 bout on Wednesday due to a thigh injury, and as MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) reported earlier today, White later said his fight with former heavyweight champ dos Santos will be rebooked for the summer.

But Hunt? White said he wasn't interested.

"Hey dummy Mark Hunt turned down the fight with JDS as of last night so STFU when u don't know what ur talkin about," White tweeted in response to one of his followers.

I've heard rumors Hunt was injured in his camp leading up to the Struve fight and either re-injured or suffered a new injury during that fight.

You can't honestly beleive that. Both Hunt and JDS would put Reem in a coma.

Fact is Overeem is the bigger fight and higher ranked opponent, for Dos Santos the road back to the title runs through Overeem before Hunt. Most believe Overeem is the more difficult fight. All the talk out of JDS and his camp is they were unwilling to fight an uninjured Overeem a month later then when he was currently scheduled to fight him. quack quack. JDS should keep his mouth shut.

Reem is the one that needs to shut up and fight. He had his chance before and tested postive for roids. He then runs his mouth and gets blasted by Bigfoot. Now he has another chance and he gets injured. He doesn't care if it's Hunt or Reem, he is a fighter that has never shown any fear. Reem is the bitch made cheater that got KTFO in his last fight. When he heals up he can catch another beat down and hopefully leave the UFC and go off to K-1 and get killed there.

Overeem hasn't said anything about it other than he is injured but could fight by June or July. JDS is saying he won't fight Overeem, that he is not a real fighter and he would only fight him if he was a champion yada yada yada. He sounds like a bitch, he should shut his mouth.

He said that only after Reem got "injured" or missed his cycle or whatever the deal was. Before that he was more then happy to sign to fight Reem, which he did...twice now. Tell me again which fighter is to blame for both those fights not happening? Reem tested positive and Reem got "hurt". All JDS did was sign the contact to fight and never backed out of shit. You are supporting the wrong man, a POS.
