| there is no one currently in the 155 class who has the skill set to even give Bj a competitive fight. I honestly think he beats 95% of the ufc's ww's as well. | |

and 2 of those losses were against GSP and the other against Matt Hughes in his prime. What WW's outside of GSP and Alves do you honestly think could beat the BJ Penn that we saw last night? And think about it really hard considering Diego was 7-2 as a WW.

Sorry but GSP absolutely obliterated him, strong wrestlers who can take BJ down and GnP him will wear him out. Kos took GSP to decision and Fitch was much more competitive than BJ. BJ doesn't belong at WW, he's not good there.

| BJ was great against Diego, though, I didn't think Diego had a chance in hell against BJ anyway.
I still want to see BJ and Aoki. Even if you think Aoki would get his ass kicked it would still be better than anything the UFC can offer currently.

BJ doesn't belong at WW, he's not good there. Honestly i dont think they would be able to get him down. GSP has better wrestling than kos and fitch and he's proven that, but GSP is the only person i can remember that has sucessfully been able to take BJ down. The only other WW i think could beat him would be Alves cause of his size (he should really fight as a MW) and his explosive striking. But i think the Bj Penn we saw last night beats everyone else in that weight class. Granted he never looks like he was in goood shape when he fights at WW which plays a big factor, but with his new strength and conditioning program and his new attitude towards fighting he could probably make it work this time around.

Maybe, I still take Kos and Fitch over BJ at 170. I'd like to see it even though I personally think he should stay at LW where he can defend his belt. He basically has 0 chance of winning the belt at WW so why even go there?

| BJ beats most WW's and probably a lot MW's. His size makes him a natural 155er but his mind and heart negate physical shortcomings. Was talking about Kos vs Penn with the gallery Saturday night, just to finish off all of the best MW's from season 1 of TUF. Swick and Alves were mentioned in that conversation also. Does anyone here think Dan Hardy would beat BJ? | |
