Randy never seems shy on what he sees as a good business move. He tried to cash in on the Fedor fight when he had the chance and he sees Bellator on the rise. Smart man.

Did Ryan already sign with UFC? His next fight just got alot tougher. Could be 1 and cut now.

Part of me really hopes that an underlying factor in Randy doing this is that he wanted to wave a big fuck you at Zuffa and White for that one thing back when all Randy wanted to do was fight the man he thought was the best in the world to see if he was better then him and they pooped on him.

I think it could be a factor. They prevented him from being in one of the biggest fights in MMA history. This time they don't have anything they can do to prevent it. Hopefully his name alone can bring more attention to Bellator because they already have a quality enough product they just need people to tune in and let the product do the rest.

Anyways, 2013 is already setting a tone in my mind that Bellator + Viacom/Spike is going to end up being a better match then I thought it would be originally.

Don't think so. Dana talked about how he was a pain in the ass when he left a few years ago, lost and then came back and now apparently he still had another Fox appearance or two on his contract and signed with Bellator anyway
