PostSubject: Heisman Trophy   Heisman Trophy EmptyFri Dec 07, 2012 4:34 pm

I'm hearing some pretty fucked up shit about the Heisman this year. We could be in for a shocker. I was listening to the radio and this thing could not only be much closer then it should be, JF could be robbed altogether. The reason why is there are some people that said they will leave JF off the ballot altogether. Which is crazy. But Te'o will be #2 on most ballots that have JF finishing 1st and Te'o will get some first place votes of his own. But the stubbornness of the old bastard voters leaving off the Freshman could cost him. There is a growing fear that I'm hearing today that Te'o could pull the upset because of this. Which would be robbery IMO.

It would be robbery but JFF is going to win.

IMO two shouldn't be top 3. I'd vote for at least 6 other before him.

I hope you are right. I personally think JFF still wins. But I think these guys are right, it will be much closer then it should be. They are even predicting it to be the closest ever. I'm really hoping your boy doesn't get robbed but there is no doubt about, people will leave JFF off the ballot completely cause he is a freshman. Herbie was saying for some reason they aren't allowed to tell who they voted this year. It was in big bold letters in e-mail. Usually they can say who they voted for. But Herbie said he was told by some they won't vote for JFF at all cause he is a Freshman.

Not sure if everyone where you're at is over confident or not, but nationally they don't sound so confident. But like I said before if he wasn't a Freshman it wouldn't be close. But just look around and listen around and you will see the concerns I'm talking about.

Voters have been telling. At this point the unknown votes would have to have almost half of the unknown ballots with Teo first and JFF off the ballot. It's going to happen here and there but JFF wins in a not close vote.

Rooting for Manti to take it. Not that would it change the stupid process of it always coming down to offensive players, but it would be a nice change. Sorry, video game offensive numbers just aren't that impressive in college football anymore when every team is running spread offenses that get off 80 plays a game.

I love defense but Teo is not deserving of his 6 awards. Moore, clowney, jones, and tuit (his teammate) are all better IMO. That S at Frenso may even be better.

Jones got totally exposed in that Alabama game. Ran right at him all game and he could do nothing. Clowney is definitely a player though

LOL, shouldn't being a freshmen pretty much guarantee him winning it? i laugh out loud at college sports and the unwritten rules that come with it.

That's a great running back duo and a top 3 OL.

What Teo's excuse for letting Pitt run right at him all day long?

That's not likely. It looks to be close. Why so confident? I haven't seen anything that suggest you should be.
