| This is just another solid fight to help build up Lil Nog. In my opinion Vera is better than Cane (even though the rankings don't agree with me) so it'll be a bigger test and just 1 step closer to Lil Nog getting a title shot. | |

| Nah, this is just a get used to the Octogon and the crowds here fight. Vera couldn't beat Couture, Cain would have a good chance. | |

| This isn't a world-breaker but I don't have a problem with this fight.
How many times have we seen guys who were Top 10 fighters outside the UFC join the UFC and completely tank? Way too often, IMO. I'm all for the UFC building up Nog's UFC fan base and his confidence before putting him in a huge fight. Vera fought in the main event in his last fight (which many thought he won) - as big of a douchebag as he is, he's still a quality opponent. | |
