In the first round Arlovski was the busier fighter and land the higher volume of strikes. His game plan was to utilize his kicks and try to get a trip. He was unsuccessful though on about 3 trips and couldn't get Tim down. Tim had 2 moments in the round where he hit Arlovski with a few heavy shots and had him in a little bit of trouble. Under UFC rules I would've given it to Timmy 10-9.
In the 2nd round Timmy was completely gassed and Arlvoski started picking him off. He finally hit Tim with a great 3 punch combo that knocked Tim down. Then he got DQ'd for the kicks.
Arlovski looked rattled a few times. He was great on offense but not so great on defense.

Yeah it was kind of exciting, but freaks right about AA, he still leaves himself open to get punched right on the chin, the way he was letting tim hit him I thought he was going to sleep in the first. It really blows that this was a no contest though. I would of liked to see someone get finished then fight Barnett, or maybe Cro Cop, wasn't there a story a couple of months ago about him questioning his retirement? I feel like Cro Cop would be a perfect fight for either AA or Tim.

OneFC announced they are adopting the full PRIDE rules...so a soccer kick is a soccer kick for now on and are legal in all cases.
