Though it is still a slightly, slightly bigger accomplishment for GSP in the end. But let's be honest here, that doesn't mean it would not be probably the greatest MMA victory of Silva's career as well, maybe the Hendo win is bigger, maybe. The winner is GOAT of everything.
If GSP does it how he wants it he will take off for 2/3 of a year to put on more muscle. So how fast can he get that process started after going 5 rounds with Condit(he can't finish Carlos). We are talking about a year long layoff...again.

| If I rank Silva's most important MMA Victories, including GSP if he was to fight and defeat him it would look something like this.
Hendo/GSP - top level Griffin/Franklin x 2/Sonnen x 2/Belfort/Marquardt - Next level Maia/Okami/Leites/Horn - High level Leben/Cote/Irvin/Rivera/Lutter/Sakurai/the rest - Rest level

| I dunno, Im seeing Spider, who doesn't want to fight Weidman, or better yet Jones, asking for GSP. Georgie meanwhile has been hurt for a year, and has a fight set for December. And even if Georgie loses to Carlos? So I see this as Silva calling out Georgie. Sure Media has asked about it, but that's not all that relevant imo, and has GSP ever overtly asked for this fight in this manner?
Loved it when BJ called out GSP(though I hated the preperation), not loving this situation so much.
But heck if it happens, I'll be interested for sure.

| There is a lot of truth in that, what happens against Condit will be telling. | |

| IMO this is one of the worst possible times for GSP to take the Anderson fight. For many of the reasons mentioned. I hate the timing of it. Especially since there is a #1 contender fight on the same card as GSP-Condit. Also by the end of the year Anderson will have atleast 1 worthy challenger. | |

| To me, this fight is bigger than any divisional contest. | |

No doubt it is, and that's why Im OK with Silva "ducking" Weidman. That fight is a non-entity right now(could be pretty big in a years time tough).

For me, it's a pointless fight. They are two fighters that compete at their current weight classes for a reason. It's a fight that has never made since for me and a fight I think is bigger in fans heads then it actually is. I also don't think it would be a very competitive fight and many fans are in for a rude awakening if it ever happen. I honestly beleive that we all better off if this fight never happens.

| Hendo wants to fight Dec 29 so how about Anderson vs Hendo II. Then June 2013 we get Anderson vs GSP. Gives both Anderson and GSP enough time after their fights. |

| Ali that pic doesn't count. Hendo is on TRT now. Everyone at ninjas knows that TRT makes fighters super human. | |
