Welcome to the fan club.

Yeah but you know how that works. Rankings and losses always play way too much of a factor in the Heisman vote. Last year was a bit of an exception.

I agree he should be. But if Colin doesn't miss any games and he keeps doing what he has been doing. IMO he is more deserving.

I only agree if A&M goes 0-3 vs UF, LSU, & Bama and JFF doesn't have more the 1500 yards/5 TDs.

Come on now. If KSU goes undefeated and Colin keeps doing his thang, he is the most deserving.

Come on now. If KSU goes undefeated and Colin keeps doing his thang, he is the most deserving.

Lets look at recent history.

Year - Player - Record - Total Yards Rank - YPG
12 - Football - 7-2 (2 wins over ranked teams)- #2 - 383
-Still has Bama to play

12 - Klein - 9-0 (2 wins over ranked teams) - #27 - 285
-Tech might fall out of the ratings
-Still has tu to play

11 - Griffin - 10-3 (2 wins over ranked teams) - #2 - 384
10 - Newton - 13-0 (a bunch) - #9 - 309
08 - Bradford - 12-2 (2 wins over ranked teams) - #4 - 340
07 - Tebow - 9-4 (one win over a ranked team) - #10 - 321

Looks like 3 of the last 4 QBs who won have had losses yet ranked near the top of total yards per game. Collin isn't in the same league as these guys while Johnny is near the top.

Aww it's so cute watching you try to justify your homerism. So you are telling me that you think the A&M guy should get the nod? Shocking.

If he beats Bama or completely and utterly crushes Collin's #s then yes.

Some big IFs right there. But I guess beating Bama would go a long, long way. So I see your point there. That's alot to ask but if he can do that, then I'll agree he deserves a strong look.

I know you're joking, but read some quotes from Spet '11.

While committed to UO (first visit)
"....I didn't expect this to happen at all, but when I got a message on Facebook from Coach Sherman, my mind started wondering about the possibility."

Then 2 more visits to Aggieland and on 9/20 he calls up the Ducks and says bye bye.

Mel Kiper just referred to Klein Collins as the "Johnny Manziel" of the K State offense.

The 4th year SR on the undefeated team is less well known than the fish.

That 345 yards is more than 8 teams had vs Bama's defense. If you combine what Ole Miss & Arkansas did vs Bama it wouldn't match Johnny's numbers.

Johnny's Heisman "competition" 195 total yards tonight (Johnny passed that by halftime). He went 12-21 (57%) for 145 yards and a pick. Johnny now has 3794 total yards. Collins has 2768. Yes, that is more than 1000 yards more in the same amount of game vs a tougher schedule.

Manzels damn good but look at the stats, he has 500 more passing yards and 400 more rushing yards than Marriotta but theresone thing your forgetting

Marcos Mariota has played 1 full game this year, he has Been done by halftime on 4 games an do e by the third in 3, Manzel will be in nY but wont win it this year

Also claiming mariota is just a system qb, well e has already broken Matt barkleys PAC 12 record for freshman TDs

Darron Thomas - Same results. It's the system
Marcus Mariota - Same results.

Oregon = Chip Kelly's system
