Damn, I forgot he was a sophomore. Wasn't Tebow a sophomore when he won?

He also holds the record for most TD passes by a freshman with 36, something even your boy JFF couldn't do

| Couldn't? No. It was just easier for him to run it in. 43 TDS before the bowl. | |

Couldn't would be the correct term. He isn't a fraction of the passer Sammy is. Your boy is closer to Tebow then Bradford. Yes that means he won't be the pro Bradford is. But he could be like Tebow, in the discussion for best college player ever.

| He'll probably throw a few more vs OU and finish the year around 27,28. You honestly think he couldn't have found 8 more if he doesn't run the ball as much? | |

It would have been close, he might have. But it's not a given. But it's definitely possible. I think this is a pretty legit question. More running TDs in the Cotton Bowl, Bell or JFF?

| So point proven. Not "couldn't". Not def yes though.
I bet Bell. I expect a healthy dose of Malena, C-mike, and maybe even Trey Williams. OU's rush D and front 7 ain't what it used to be.

For one, both Clay and Williams have been playing well. Also it's Landry's last game ever at OU. They might not take him out for some snaps that they normally would. Also our FB Millard, probably the best overall player on our team, has been getting more and more plays called for him.

| You know your team better. I thought bell got all goal line carries. Good thing we've seen Lacey so it won't be a huge shock trying to tackle someone that big.

There was a stretch were he got quite a few. He has 10 rushing TDs but 4 came against Texas. Toward the end of the season it seems like the RBs got the ball more often then not. In our final 4 games Bell had 2 rushing TDs, Williams had 4 and Clay had 2 and 1 of those Bell TDs came on a 55 yard run. So that just shows you that the RBs were getting more goal line carries. Bell was used more for short yardage downs to get the 1st down. He was still a beast when it came to that. I think it had to do with a combo of Landry playing better in the redzone and RBs getting in a groove.

I don't think he does, but he might. He needs to improve alot over the off season if he wants to be the starter. IMO it's very likely we play a 2 QB system next year. With Bell being almost like Tebow was his 1st year with Chris Leak as the "starter". I think it's possible both Drew Allen(he will be a Sr next year) and Bell both play. Drew Allen is 6"5 225lbs. Has a much better arm then Bell. http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/481616/drew-allen
