The interview didn't make air but Glen Johnson announced his retirement to Joe Tessitore after FNF main event. Good luck to a great guy.

Glen has the most fitting nickname in all of sports, Congrats to a clear Hall of Famer on a great career; dude was a beast and didn't even get noticed until he was old, and man he lasted a long time.

was the legit Light Heavyweight champion, won the IBF title and Ring title, beat Roy Jones and then took on the clear #1 in the division and defeated him (in Antonio Tarver), 2004 fighter of the year, the draw with Clinton Woods was B.S. imo.

I don't think he is a first ballot hall of fame'r but in this era, he definitely belongs, being the clear cut man in the division (if even for a year) means a lot more than it used to.

went on a terror in 2004, beating Eric Harding, Clinton Woods, ROy Jones Jr and Antonio Tarver.

also had losses to Bernard Hopkins, Syd Vanderpool and Sven Ottke earlier in his career.

I just don't see that as enough to warrant a place but with todays standards he'll probably get in anyway.
