Favorite Fighter(s) : Posts : Join date : I think this goes down similarly to Munoz' fight with Okami. Weidman is the better wrestler in My opinion, the better grappler all around, and the better technical striker. Munoz has the scrambles and submissions to stay out of major trouble on the ground and I don't think Weidman can hold Munoz down for too long, but I think he can get takedowns when he needs them. If Chris Leben could take Munoz down multiple times Weidman shouldn't have a whole lot of trouble doing it if he needs to win close rounds. Weidman should have a conditioning edge but we haven't seen either guy go five rounds before. Munoz obviously has the power striking to change the fight, but I just don't like his telegraphed punches and shoot takedowns. Weidman probably uses footwork and keeps disciplined to take a decision.
