| Oh, and im picking Sanchez strictly because of his "YES!" entrance lol jp
Nah, I think Diego has the all around game and skill set to compete with Penn, push the action and beat BJ.

| BJ is better on the ground and on the feet. Winner via fatality. | |

| Sanchez at LW I am still not entirely sold on as a cardio machine like he was at WW, and BJ doesn't gas out in the late rounds in LW fights either. He also is coming right off of his win against Florian in which he was in the best shape of his life and isn't taking much of a lay off. He will be in tremendous physical shape and have better cardio than Diego possibly. | |

| If BJ comes in the condition he came into the Florian bout with, he will kill Sanchez. You know what, if he comes in looking like he has been on a twinkie binge, he will kill Diego. BJ, 1st round sub. | |

| It depends which penn and whick diego shows up. IF penn is 100% then penn all day but if penn is off one bit diego will grind out the UD. | |

| Diego looks to have lost what little power he had in his hands at 170. BJ's better on the ground, and I think has the striking advantage at 155. BJ hasn't shown cardio issues at 155. Diego's only advantage in this fight is his size, IMO. Diego has a shot as anyone does, but BJ should take care of business here... | |

| I expect BJ to be in even better condition then we saw in the flo fight. Sanchez meanwhile has looked considerably slower in the 3rd rounds of each of his fights at 155. I think BJ owns most of the advantages skillwise but Diego still rates highly. In the end BJ's power and fluidity overcomes Diego's energy once he starts to fade.
BJ stops it in the 3rd. A stand up classic that could end in typical rnc fashion.

| I like both guys but Diego isnt a nightmare at 155. He is slow lethargic and punches soft.
BJ will have him crying like he did Stevenson and Florian.

| I'm actually shocked at this thread. I figured people would at least be 50/50 on this fight.
Guess not though, I guess we will see...im still really pumped for this fight
OH and I have Mir getting beat down by Kongo as well...im taking the underdogs in both fights...Kongo and Sanchez.

| I know he's never faced a submission guy on Mir's level but it should be noted that Kongo has never been submitted. I also don't hold the Cain performance as a major knock on his ground game, Cain is just that relentless. I'd still favor Mir but Kongo's live in that fight. | |

| Any striker has a chance in a fight obviously, but if Mir gets Kongo on the ground Kongo's streak of never being submitted will come to an end... Of that I have no doubt! You can't look at Kongo's resume and tell me that anyone he's fought is even on the same planet as Mir when it comes to submission ability... | |

true but the same could most certainly have been said about Rogers vs Fedor, and Rogers proved himself very competent on the ground in that fight. I don't think it's a given that Mir sub's Kongo if it goes to the ground. that said I would hope Kongo would play it smart and not follow mir to the ground no matter how hurt Frank might be.

| BJ should win this, he has better stand up and a better ground game. I still think Diego made a mistake leaving the Jackson camp. | |
