| Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Manning x2, Big Ben are the guys I'm sure are better then Romo. Probably Ryan as well. But I'm not willing to put Flacco, Stafford, Dalton, Newton, Schaub, Luck, RG3 or anyone else that might be considered in the next level to be better then Romo. You could argue some are equal but IMO not better. | |

Long shot. Chicago losing to Detroit is the longshot there. Redskins could very well beat the Cowboys and the Packers could very well beat the Vikings. All those things happening is very possible, even Chicago vs Detroit. But getting all 4 to break our way? There lies the long shot.

If Romo wins a super bowl, with the #'s he puts up, the plays he makes, the talent he shows, he immediately goes elite. But he thus far has zero playoff success. So it's a funny spot. But I think where u have him listed is about right. Though guys like RG and Luck could shoot by him if they, and not Romo, have big closings to the season.

Yeah there are young guys that could shoot by him. Even Stafford if he stays healthy could pass up Romo. Forgot about Cutler, but IMO he is pretty equal to Romo as well. I expect both RG3 and Luck to be better QBs and have better careers. I expect both to be future HOFers. I'm still not giving up on Bradford who is young and still showing plenty of promise. Flacco could still improve, he seems like he has the tools needed to take the next step up. Dalton could still end up better then Romo. We have alot of good young QBs in the league right now, but at this point in time I couldn't put them over Romo.

Obviously this is hypothetical based on possible play in the playoffs, but if those guys play great while Romo goes all picks and fumbles, and any sensible GM would take the young guys over Romo even if it were only for the 2013 season. Using similar reasoning same can be said for Schaub and Ryan, and I guess Dalton can be included in this as well. Could u throw Flacco and Cutler into that same line of thinking? Well u could, but I think both are similar to Romo, in that they are veterans and none have had big playoffs. Flacco has more wins, but uneven play. And Cutler has that Romo big play/ turnover tendency. So they could, but I'm more of the opinion that we have seen who these guys are, and it would be against grain to expect them to breakout this postseason, actually see Romo breaking out b4 either of these guys. But i'll give Romo edge based on career reg season play. Romo is safely above Bradford, and even Stafford going into next year, imo. Bradford really not in the discussion.

| Sammy has the same shit line Romo has with a fraction of the playmakers. Witten is one of the most underrated players currently in the league it seems with all the shit I got for mentioning his name in the TE thread. He just set the single season record for catches by a TE and IMO he is the best TE outside of Tony G for this generation. Romo and Sammy are very different players, Sammy is still very young and IMO he will be better then Romo. But right now you are right, he isn't even in the discussion. But I'm just pointing out he has a gimp for a RB and shit for WR to go with a shit O-Line. | |

| WAY less yardage, significantly lower completion %, less TD's, worse record, and little of the late game heroics that we have seen from Romo this year. There seasons are not even close.
4th season coming up for Bradford. About the last year he will be able to hide behind the "young qb" label. Team still getting it together with Fisher, but Bradford needs to step up.

If Cowboys lose this week and Rams win then technically I think Rams will have a better record. Pretty sure they will with that bye that should have been a win vs 49ers. Sammy isn't hiding behind nothing. People around him aren't that good, it's just a fact of his current situation.

I'd say lack of a passing game has been a bigger hindrance to the running game then vice versa. And I haven't watched a ton of Rams games, but what I do see when I watch a good QB is, it doesn't matter all that much who they are throwing too, a good qb makes receivers look good. O-line will do more to make a QB look bad then WR's will. Again haven't watched enough Stl to know if that is a problem.

He needs to step up if he is going to make the jump up but he looks like he has the tools to do so. Hell Danny Amendola is not that good of a WR. Hell Sammy had Mark Clayton leading the league in recieving for a couple games before he got injured last year.

| Welp, Giants won, but too many other dominoes needed to fall.
Thought Detroit might pull it off, but the fumbled handoff helped Chicago stem the tide.
Don't care much about GB and Minny anymore.
But I will be rooting for Washington tonight. F the cowpokes.
Don't like not making the playoffs, but the recent super bowl W's help take the sting off. And at least the played well in the final game.

| Peterson needs 60 yards in the next 15 minutes of play to take the all time single season rushing record. | |

| that peterson carried that vikings team into the playoffs is more impressive than the yardage imo.
it's still difficult to look at them and see a good team.

it's still difficult to look at them and see a good team. The team played well in phases tonight. To start the whole offense clicked and the whole defense clicked. Then it was just the offense, then it was just Peterson, then it was just Ponder, etc etc etc.

| Cowboys couldn't overcome the injuries this season. Most injured team in the NFL(look it up). That game would have been different with Sean Lee. 0 healthy WR, too many injuries. Go Peterson. | |
