| Took a completely awful game from Cincy QB for for Houston to eek out a win at home? That's a bad sign.
Always thought Houston's top end is limited because of Schaub. But the team as a whole was still better then Cincy, especially when playing in Texas.
Playing against Brady in NE will be a whole other ball of wax. Schaub HAS to find a way to get the ball into the end zone.

| And yes Griffin is super talented. But his body is not going to hold up. Not that he should have even been on the field in the 4th qtr(or even 2nd half) but it is year one and he can't stay on the field.
If u had to choose between Luck and RG3, the smart $$ is on Luck.

| Money has always been Luck. Running QBs never last.
Speaking of Griffin. He's ultra talented, but every single bad play I've ever seen him make ends with him getting hurt.

| Running quarterbacks are perennially injury prone. It probably has something to do with the increased amount of open field shots they take as opposed to the somewhat lesser force hits in the pocket(not every hit, but on the whole). | |

| the biggest difference between griffin and wilson is that wilson seems to know when to slide and when to throw it away.
griffin seems determined to make the play until he gets cracked, he reminds me a bit of michael vick and big ben in that respect. that style of play has long since caught up with vick and looked to be taking it's toll on roethlisberger the longer this season went on.

I was thinking the same. Griffin's and Vick's games are predicated on extending plays till the bitter end, and they often get crushed in the process. And it's not just on their run's, but also their passes. Those guys take so many big hits. My main man Eli almost never takes hits like those guys do.

| 9ers answer the bell but miss a FG to tie. Dirty birds up 24-21. Been a great game. | |

| We back in the show.
What a game. Great second half by the defense and great comeback by Kaep, Gore, Davis, and James. The defense is the story though. 0 points in the second half for the Falcons.
Hope they stay hungry for one more to get the franchise number 6

1. 49ers 1-0 – Offense better, defense great. If they could stifle Green Bay like that, then it will take their own mistakes or another tough baller defense to play with them. Moss is gonna be an apex predator in the redzone, Crabtree, Mario and Davis everywhere else, lot of good hands. Boysenberry preserve.
2. Ravens 1-0 – Tough Baller Defense. Old or not, their brand is true. Rice does his thing, they need to use him at least 5 more times than they did tonight though, and Flacco hit on big plays, looking improved.
3. Patriots 1-0 – Going to score a lot more points than most of their opponents this season if the Defense holds up.
4. Texans 1-0 – Might the best running back and wide receiver combo in the league, keeping them healthy, keeping up a steady D and re-establishing their O-line dominance could make them a wild card.
5. Packers – If they can’t shore up their defensive ineptitude, they will not be competitive in the post season. If the 49ers can moderate and outscore them, a few other teams at least would have a chance to also, the types of teams they will be facing in the post-season. It will take miracle offense to close the gap. They are still going to do a lot of crushing this year but the best defensive teams are the better teams.

Didn't see the Falcons being up there this year but covered the bases otherwise. Wasn't my pick for the Superbowl though. Also called Kap putting the 49ers over the edge and said Smith wouldn't get it done for them, even when Kings and a lot of others didn't want Kap in there. NFL MVP - Adrian Petersen OPOY - Adrian Petersen DPOY - JJ Watt OROY - RGIII DROY - Casey Hayward COY - Pete Carroll Comeback - Adrian Petersen Most Improved - Dez Bryant

| I'm just glad the Pats lost. Now not matter who wins I won't be upset. Would like for Ray Lewis to end his career winning another Super Bowl but I won't be upset if 49ers win. Give a couple of you guys the jollies. | |

it will be interesting to see if smith goes back to the player he was in san francisco before he had a dominant running game, OL and defense to carry him. not well i suspect as kansas city has none of those things. reid also likes to throw for the sake of throwing even when the running back is the best player on the offense. the eagles might have won more playoff games if he'd leant on players like westbrook and mccoy like he should have, now watch him waste jamaal charles ability.
